On April 20, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments concerning whether the Guantánamo detainees have a right to appeal to U.S. courts. On April 28, they will hear arguments concerning the detentions of U.S. citizen enemy combatants Yasser Esam Hamdi and Jose Padilla.
The ad hoc coalition planning rallies on those two days urges all of you who can attend to be there for legally permitted, non-violent demonstrations on both days from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. A program of speakers will begin at 11 a.m. Please pass the word.
